We are thrilled to bring Troubadour to the beautiful St. Mary’s Church as we make our debut with Under the Spire. Inspired by the historic performances that James Taylor and Carole King gave at the famed Troubadour club in the 1970s, this production celebrates the music, the friendship, and the storytelling that defined a generation.

Featuring an exceptional Island cast of eleven musicians and vocalists, Troubadour captures the warmth, honesty, and gentle soul that made these two artists iconic. Audiences will be swept into a nostalgic journey through their legendary catalogues, from Taylor’s soothing classics like Fire and Rain, Sweet Baby James, and How Sweet It Is to King’s unforgettable anthems It’s Too Late, I Feel the Earth Move, and So Far Away.

With rich harmonies, orchestral arrangements, and heartfelt performances, this concert blends selections from their solo careers with music inspired by their celebrated Troubadour shows.
